Sanitary Sewer Service
The City of St. Clair has an activated sludge mechanical Wastewater (Sanitary Sewer) Treatment Plant, which went into operation in June of 1999.
The St. Clair Public Works Dept maintains the Wastewater Treatment Plant, including the lift stations, 24-hour composit sampler, UV disinfection system, areation basins, clarifiers, aerobic digester, misc. pumps, motors, and blowers.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant has consistently produced an effluent that surpasses the required stream quality standard required for disposal into the LeSueur River.
Sanitary Sewer rates are based on water consumption.

$21.50 base rate
$8.00 for each 1,000 gallons (based on water consumption)
RESIDENTIAL SEWER HOOK-UP FEE
The sewer hook-up fee is the fee charged to allow an individual residential sewer service line to be connect to the City sanitary sewer main/system.
RESIDENTIAL SANITARY SEWER HOOK-UP CHARGE:
$8.00 for each 1,000 gallons (based on water consumption)
