The City of St. Clair contracts with LJP Waste and Recycle for residential garbage and recycling services. The billing for garbage and recycling services is included with the monthly water and sewer bill.

DOES ST. CLAIR HAVE A POLICE DEPT.?
No, the City of St. Clair does not maintain its own Police Department.
Since 1970, the City has contracted with the Blue Earth County Sheriff's Dept. for police protection.
Call 9-1-1 to report any POLICE, FIRE, or MEDICAL EMERGENCY!
WHAT DAY IS GARBAGE and RECYCLING PICKED-UP?
St. Clair contracts with LJP Waste & Recyle for curbside garbage and recycling services.
FRIDAY is garbage and recycling pick up day. Items should be on the curb by 7:00 a.m.

WHERE DO I GET A GARBAGE or RECYCLING CART?
Call City Hall (507-245-3494) if you need a garbage or recycling cart, we usually have some on hand.
WHERE DO I OBTAIN A DOG or CAT LICENSE?
Dog and cat licenses are issued by the City Clerk.

WHEN IS ST. CLAIR DAYS?
St. Clair Days is held the weekend after Father's Day.

WHO DO I CALL IF I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MY WATER BILL?
Questions about your water bill can be directed to the St. Clair City Clerk at 507-245-3494.
DOES ST. CLAIR HAVE A COMPOST SITE?
The City of St. Clair does not maintain a compost site. Grass clippings, leaves, prunings, weeds, sod strippings, limbs, branches, logs and vines may be taken to the SMC Compost Facility. There is a per bag or per load fee for the service.
For current fees, please call SMC at 507-388-3122. The SMC Compost Site is located at 57032 ~ 231st Lane, Mankato (off of 3rd Avenue).
WHERE CAN I DISPOSE OF HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE?
Contact the Blue Earth County Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 507-304-4381 for information regarding the disposal of household hazardous waste.
The facility is located at 651 Summit Avenue in Mankato. Use of the facility is FREE to Blue Earth County residents!
