STORM DAMAGE NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

Dear Residents,

Following the recent storm, please be advised that individuals offering repair services may begin going door-to-door in our community.

While peddler permits are not required in our town, we strongly encourage residents to use caution when dealing with unsolicited offers for home repairs or storm cleanup. Always verify credentials, ask for references, and never feel pressured to make immediate decisions.

A reminder to all residents:
If you plan to make repairs to your home or property due to storm damage, a building permit is required for most construction and structural work, including:

• Roof repairs or replacement
• Fence repairs
• Siding and exterior work
• Structural or major interior work

Before beginning any work, please contact City Hall or Building Inspector Mike Benson to ensure proper permits are obtained and work is done to code.
